Delete unused passwords

I notice that 1Password - any version - keeps every password I ever generated, even for logins that I long since deleted. Is there a way to keep it from doing this? Or at least offer a way to delete passwords that are no longer used?

Hey a Scifi buff just like me <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> and one of our admins "Stu".

I / we like Babylon 5 as well

Anyway, No there is currently no way I know of to disable the capture of generated passwords. It was designed that way as a safety net of sorts should you forget to save the login or the browser crashes etc

As for removing them all I can say is I use the manual method.

    1. You can either select each one and press the delete key. Which is also the easiest and less prone for error.

    2. You can select multiple entries by clicking the desired entires to be selected while holding the command key and then pressing the delete key.

Additionally if you prefer you can simply click and drag the entires to the 1Password Trash which is separate from the system trash. The 1Password trash is shown in the lower left hand pane of the 1Password app.
