1P stopped working with Firefox 3.6.7 (Mac OS 10.5.8)

I'm using Firefox v3.6.7 and 1Password v3.3.0 on a Mac running OS X 10.5.8. I've enjoyed 1P for the past month or so, and just this afternoon it stopped integrating with Firefox. The 1Password button is still on the Firefox toolbar, but the option to fill web login information is greyed out now. I can get the password from the 1P program and paste it into the box, but I have to manually enter my user name. I do store the agilekeychain in my Dropbox folder, and use it on several Macs and one PC.

I used to right-click on the entry box to input user name and password from 1P. How do I restore 1P functionality?

Thanks,

Ian

    Hi Ian,

    Welcome to the forum!

Have you tried to reinstall the Firefox extension using 1Password > Preferences > Browsers?
  • That seems to have done the trick. Any idea what might have caused the problem?

Officially I dunno but as far as just my experience here in the forum first it could have been an update of ff maybe ? Additionally just my personal opinion here again ff is finicky. I stay away except for that occasional site that safari balks at. However the is a huge following here in the forum of ff users. The wife was one for a very long time till I converted her to safari. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
  • That's ironic, as I just converted from Safari to Firefox, because Safari punts a bunch of work-related pdf handling <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Of course, they are both better than Mosaic that I started with...

To funny glad to hear you like it ff that is, I am still on the fence as far as chrome goes. Safari does have hiccups I tried to file a bug report today with the apple bug reporter and guess what it refused to open in Safari, do what Yes it wouldn't open. I have been trying for 3 days to file it. It did manage to open the page but it didn't save my report so I just let it go (for today). But I digress, again I am glad you are up and running again.
