Will you add support for more browsers?
1Password currently has browser extensions available for Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox. In previous versions of 1Password, several other browsers were supported, including DevonAgent, OmniWeb, NetNewsWire, Fluid, Camino.
Several users have asked us to bring back support for these browsers but it is not possible at this time. In Snow Leopard this was possible because 1Password was able to use an undocumented feature of the system based on Scripting Additions. This feature is still available on Lion but it is more difficult to use, will be going away in the future, and is unavailable to Mac App Store applications.
We are therefore focusing our development efforts on browsers that offer official support for extensions and have a rich set of APIs. At this time this includes Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox. Opera also has official support for extensions and support is being considered.
