1Password crashes right after being installed from the Mac App Store

If you bought 1Password recently from the Mac App Store and it crashes as soon as you open 1Password, it could be related to the location of the Downloads folder.

If your Downloads folder is not in your home folder but is located on a separate drive then many applications installed from Mac App Store will crash during launch.

To fix this problem, please make sure your Downloads folder is located on the same drive as your home folder.
