Spinning beach ball when using Find (search)

This is what happens:

1) Command F, or Edit > Find Item.

2) Enter search term, hit Enter.

3) Spinning beach ball for 15-60 seconds.

I've had a couple of upgrades come through since this started happening. Current version: Version 3.3.1.BETA-1 (build 30705)

I see this happening fairly frequently. For me, the initial search seems to take a good bit of time, long enough that that spinning beach ball is visible for 10-30 seconds. Once I've done the first search things seem much faster.

Of all the improvements and fixes I'd like to see in the product, the one I'd welcome most would be faster performance on initial search. I'm not sure how they are handled internally by 1Password but is it possible some type of caching could be done when the product first loads? I'm using Version 3.5.0 Beta-7, but this has been happening to my builds for quite some time.

    Hey Dave,

Welcome to the forums! I'm sorry that you are experiencing this.

Have you already rebuilt your data file? (Help > Troubleshooting > Rebuild Data File…) If that doesn't work, could you please email us your Diagnostics Report? This will help us track down the issue more quickly. You can generate the report from 1Password on your Mac by clicking the Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report... menu item and then attach the report to an e-mail to support@agile.ws. If you include a link to this thread, that will help us "connect the dots." <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums.

Looking forward to resolving this for you. Thanks!

I'll try rebuilding the data file to see if there's any change and, if that doesn't help, I'll send more diagnostic info. Thanks for the support!
