Pop-up login window?

ReverbNation now has a bizarre little pop-up window that is not a standard html window as far as I can tell (maybe javascript?), and has no apparent separate url. It also is not affected by Safari's "Block Pop-Up Windows" setting. To see it you would have to go to http://www.reverbnation.com/ and click on "Log in >>" at the upper right hand corner of their main page.

I can't find any way in 1Password to deal with it.

I'm using Safari in Leopard 10.5.8. I also have FireFox but rarely use it, and the same little window pops up in FireFox, too.

    Welcome to the forum, denriddy!

I just visited that site in Safari, filled in bogus username and password (I don't have an account), clicked the 1P button in the browser toolbar, and chose Save Login.

When I visited that site again and pressed Command+\ 1Password correctly filled in the username and password I had entered before.

If you follow those steps, I hope you'll have the same results.

As an alternative, you can download the attached Zip file, unzip it, and import the unzipped file into 1Password. You'll just need to edit the Reverbnation item, and change the username and password to your own login credentials.

Here's what 1Password saved, and what you'll get if you import the Reverbnation.1pif file:

Either way you choose, I hope you'll let us know how it goes.

I have the same issue with a website where I order some stuff. Was quixtar.com, but then moved to amwayglobal.com. The instituted a flash front page, then a login page - that pops up a window. I have deleted old saved passwords and tried numerous times, but it never works. :(

Visiting that URL redirects me to:

    https://www.amway.com/Shop/Login/LoginLanding.aspx?ReturnURL=http://www.amway.com/%7B0%7D/pages/home.aspx

I entered a username and password and clicked 1P > Save Login. I refreshed the page and clicked 1P > Fill Amway and 1Password filled the form. Please give it a try.
