Dropbox (multiple macs)
I have 3 macs (iMac, MabBook and another iMac at work) and I'm currently using a USB flash drive to "sync" 1password between them. I'm thinking of using Dropbox since the flash drive solution is getting kinda annoying. So I'm wondering if you can have multiple instances of 1Password open at the same time when using Dropbox or do I have to remember to quit the app before I start switch to another mac?

No it should handle multiple macs at the same time with no problem for you. I have never had a problem with the data just not showing up on one of my other macs. I can watch via growl as the wife adds things and such. You will be working from the browser a large portion of the time and the browser will call the data from 1P. Its basically like having a refresh when you click the button. Hope you like Dropbox I know you will just remember to allow the sync of your keychain to finish to each of the macs before finishing the setup, it may take a few min the first time but it will be remarkably faster the next as only changes, additions, and deletions get pushed to DB.Flag 0 -

If you have a friend that uses Dropbox, ask them for their referral link. That will give them an additional 250MB of storage. I believe you can get up to an additional 6GB of storage from referral links for a total of 8GB of free space! Dropbox is awesome and makes an awesome companion for 1Password. Two great apps on their own, made even better when combined.Flag 0
