1Password Anywhere and Special Characters

Hi everyone,

I have just noticed that 1Password Anywhere does not work with at least one of these special characters: "ö", "ä", "ü", "§", "_"

Passwords cotaining these characters work well on 1P Mac, but not in 1Password Anywhere on Firefox or Safari.

Is there a way to solve this?

    Hey,

I also encountered this issue, today I updated my password in 1password3.3 on Mac, the password contains "<" character, in 1password anywhere only kept the characters before "<", I guess this is because in web, these special characters require to be properly parsed between actual data and web browsers stream.

But this seems the issue only occurs in latest version of 1password3.3 anywhere, because some of my prior created passwords are containing "<" without any issues.

Looking forward to the fix as soon as possible.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Aaron,

I am glad that I am not the only one with this issue. I am also sure that the issue came up with one of the latest releases, since my passwords always contain some special characters and this has never been a problem so far.

    Best regards
