I am sorry to hear about your issue, I was afraid it might happen.
Android Operation System is still very far from perfection, and the most troublesome problem in my opinion is the way
how Dialog Boxes are handled (if interested, please visit http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=3953).
I am sure that About Dialog works perfectly fine for > 95% of all customers on most phone models.
(I always test my application thoroughly and my Nexus G4
phone never complained on that. Nobody else reported such an obvious issue so far too).
However, having the possibility of crashing in mind, I am trying to get rid of Dialog Boxes (for example new Help and Sync Confirmation screens are not using Dialog pop-ups anymore and you can open them perfectly fine).
In the next release I will definitely re-write About Dialog , I simply didn't have time to do it for the Beta 1.5.3.

Besides, I strongly recommend you to upgrade your phone's OS to 2.2 if possible,
there were many bugs fixed in it.

thank you for your reply, but no need to be sorry about it. After all it's beta and also I'm really happy you are developing an Android version of your great password manager. (I have been using it since the moment I switched to Mac about three years ago and after owning an Android phone I really missed the app for this platform. Thanks for the interesting link. Personally I am mainly a Java developer and I also coded a few small apps for private use on Android. Sure, no OS is perfect, but if you complain about Android or its APIs, I guess you haven't tried Symbian or Windows Mobile? <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

No offense meant at all. I'm sure the app works on most phone models and no doubt you do thorougly testing. After all this a classical bug that you can only find with beta versions with many users, isn't it?

I updated to 1.5.4 today and the problem is gone. That was really fast. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> If I discover another issue, I'll let you know.

I would love to upgrade my phone to 2.2. While it is available for the US Droids it sadly isn't finished for my european Milestone. Desperately awaiting Froyo. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
