How can I disable master password hint?

<div class="IPBDescription">Master Password</div>Hello, all...
First, my apologies if this topic has already been addressed and answered; I looked but couldn't find.
In the process of setting up my 1P on a Mac it asked me for a password hint. I didn't really want to use one, but entered one since I couldn't find a way around it.
Then, after several very pleasant weeks of using 1P <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I mis-typed my master password once when opening the entire program (not simply logging into a 3rd party website, but when using the "Launch 1Password").
BANG: due to my typing error my password hint appeared with no please show, no delay, or anything else. It was right there where anybody could see the hint! If my machine had been stolen by somebody vaguely familiar with the 1P program they would have seen the hint.
CAN I DISABLE, OR EVEN BETTER, DELETE THE PASSWORD HINT FUNCTION? Yes, this means the whole computer is balled up if I forget it, but that's what I would like -- it's my responsibility to know this program's master password. My unwanted hint was too simplistic and scared me as to how easily somebody could get into my 1P.
Thank you.

Go to the 1P preferences, select the Keychain tab, click on the Change Password button.
Type in the current master password in all 3 fields (keeps it the same)
Erase what is in the password hint field and press the spacebar one time. This will make the hint a single blank character and thus nothing will be displayed on the login screen if the master password is typed incorrrectly.Flag 0 -
Dear Carl
So Simple and So Obvious.
Thank you.

Yep you did know what I meant, that was a bright part of my day seeing a post from an old friend. Glad you made the earlier post. (It was a sad day when I learned of your departure)Flag 0
