Upgraded to 1P 3.3.1. The button has disappeared in the browser.

  • Okay, I fixed the problem by launching the 1Password application. The browser button reappeared.

    Welcome to the forums, fixmacs!

I am glad to hear you got that sorted out. Don't forget we are also here when you have a problem to which you can't figure out the answer. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Thanks for being a 1Password customer!

I've lost the 1P icon from Safari (Version 5.0.1) on iMac running Mac OS X 10.6.4 - I'm not exactly sure, but I think I lost the icon after installing 1Password Version 3.4.0.BETA-1. I later received an update, Version 3.4.0.BETA-2 (build 30721) which I installed hoping it would resolve the problem to no avail.

I've tried the usual tricks to get the icon to appear:

shutdown/relaunch

clearing the cache

reset preferences

dragging th icon from the TB (...but it's not there to drag)

all the other tips found in Troubleshooting and the FAQ guide.
Is this an issue with the latest release, or have I missed something?

Mmmm. Uncanny timing. I've just rebooted the iMac and I can now see the 1P icon in Safari. I guess I posted the above a tad too soon?

Glad the reboot got things up and running for you, of course if you continue to experience issues please do let us know.

    Thanks,

Ive seen this a couple of times myself lately. What brought my button back was start 1p app then start safari from a shutdown state. YMMV
  • Hello

I'm new here, and am having the problem of the Missing Button.

I run the latest update of Snow Leopard on an iMac, and have the latest update of Safari.

I've tried every trouble-shooting task suggested in Help, I've sent an email to Admin, but have had no reply so far.

(You know, following the instructions under the If All Else Fails category.....)

    It was a seamless download & installation of 1Password and you can count me in group which bought the program;

    no trial-run user here.

The problem is I just can't Use the program without the button.
