FireFox Keyboard Shortcut Not Working
Hello, I am running 1Password 3.3.1 (build 30709) on a Mac (OSX 10.6.4.)
In Firefox (version 3.6.<img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/emoticon-0103-cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='8)' /> I have had no luck at all setting up keyboard shortcuts. The shortcuts I set up work fine in Safari but when I try them in FF I just get the alert tone. I have tried many different keyboard combinations.
In my opinion this SEVERELY LIMITS the utility of this otherwise great application. Does anyone have a fix?
Thanks!!!

Hi, welcome to the forums.
The alert tone sounds like the shortcut has already been taken by another extension or application. Have you try to change it to something like cmd+option+control+\ and see if it works? You might want to try to disable other extensions in Firefox to see if one of them is reserving the cmd+\ keyboard shortcut.Flag 0 -

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I have disabled all plugins and am still getting the same result. I have two Mac Books (one Pro and one Standard) and am having the issue on both. Like I say I have tried a LOT of different combinations (e.g. cmd option control function q). All combinations work fine in Safari but none work in FireFox.
Please advise, thanks!Flag 0 -
