No 1Password.html in my keychain [Fixed in 1PW 3.4]

Hi all,

I am using the Trial version 1Password.

I want to use the 1PasswordAnywhere option, But do not appear to have the required 1Password.html in my agile keychain package.

I am looking in:

/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain/

I doubt this is a limitation on the Trial version.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Many thanks

MH

    Hi and welcome

the html is inside the keychain right click and select show package contents and you will see the html or 1password anywhere. This is useful if you want to look at it on the machine you have it installed on.

If you want to view it remotely

sign up for a free dropbox account, (install dropbox)
move the entire keychain to dropbox,
once the upload finishes double click on the keychain inside finder this will ensure 1password knows where your keychain is. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to switch to this keychain click yes.
Open up the dropbox web interface
find your keychain file (looks like a folder here)
open it and double click on the html
1password anywhere will open
you are now set to view the data anywhere with a connection
if you want the same keychain on other macs just install dropbox making sure to use the same email and password, once its finished downloading all your files simple just double click on the keychain file again on the new mac, you will be prompted to accept this file click yes
Let us know if you get stuck somewhere or need more help.

Oops looks like Mike got the part I missed (you said inside keychain) Sorry about that MH

    Hi, welcome to the forums.

Have you try rebuilding the keychain? Open 1Password, go to the Help Menu and select Tools > Troubleshooting > Rebuild Data File....

Please let me know how it turns out.

You may be suffering from a bug in 3.3.1 where it failed to copy over 1Password.html. We fixed this issue in 3.4 and right now it is in beta.

You can wait for the final 3.4 update or you can update to the latest beta if you wish by going to the 1Password > Preferences window, selecting the Update panel, enable the "Include Beta versions" checkbox, and then click Check Now. Once the update is installed, try again and see if it helps.
