Go and Fill Login for Droid

<div class="IPBDescription">Droid equivalent to CMD+OPT+Return</div>One of the great things about 1Password on my Mac is I can find the login I want and then simply hit Cmd Opt Return and it launches the page and logs me in. Is there a way to do this on my Droid Incredible? I frankly haven't even figured out a workflow that allows me to copy my Username, launch the site, paste my Username, then go back to 1Password, copy my password and then return to the site to paste the password. Writing the info down while in 1Password so I can remember it all seems to sort of defeat the purpose.

Can I do this?

  • Hi martinnel and welcome to the Forum !

Yes, you can easily copy webform's username or password to the clipboard and paste it later to the entry fields on your browser forms.

It should be done one by one, of course (username and then password) but it is easily achievable by switching between 1P for Android

    and Browser on your phone.

In order to copy some value on clipboard, just click on it and hold for a half of second. The phone will slightly vibrate and the message

"required item is copied on clipboard" will be displayed to you. Next switch to the Android Browser, find the entry field and paste the value here by doing a long click on the value.

For more detailed info, please read your phone's manual on how to copy/paste values on clipboard.

    Best Regards,

    Gene,

I just realized you'd written back. I thought I had enabled email notifications of replies.

OK, so I can copy and paste to log in to a site. But is there an equivalent to "Go and Fill Login," (CMD+OPT+RETURN) like I find in the File menu on my Mac? If not, is there any plan to add this feature?

  • Hi martinnel,

The autologon feature you've mentioned is already completed and will be available in the next release of 1P for Android so please

    stay tuned for the updates.

There will be some other very important features in this coming release which many customers asked for as well.

There will be an option to click a button and to have the page displayed with username and password fields automatically

    populated.

    Best Regards,

    Gene

Outstanding, Gene. I look forward to it.

BTW, how do I subscribe to a thread here? I've checked "Enable email notification of replies" and yet I don't receive a notification and the next time I reply to a thread I have to re-check that box.

  • Hi Martin,

Sorry, I am not sure how to subscribe to a thread, I simply monitor the site every day.

Let's wait until some of Agile customer support team members provide more info on that.

    Regards,

    Gene
