Suggestion: Copy to clipboard

I run across times when I need to actually copy the login information for a site to the clipboard for pasting into a form, when 1Password won't work with that site. An example here is the Feedly extension for Safari 5. There are others, but that one comes to mind.

I'd love to have an additional item in the menubar drop-down for copy to clipboard of the login items, individually. As it is, I have to fire up 1Password, navigate to that item, copy one item, back to the site and paste, then all again for the password.

These sites are few, but happen a lot with things like Feedly (which seems to have issues keeping me logged in).

Thanks for the apps, I seriously couldn't exist these days without 1Password. Your integration lately with Dropbox was genius. I wish every Mac developer out there had your chops and intelligence.

  • Hi kellysims,

Thanks so much for the kind words, we're really happy with how Dropbox syncing turned out <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Anyway, we're looking into options for this exact scenario, where for whatever reason 1Password can't fill the login form, something like a HUD (Heads Up Display) to make it easy to copy your login details from within the browser. I don't have a timeframe on this, but it's certainly something we're keen to add.

    Hope that helps,
