Unable to sync MB Pro with iPhone

<div class="IPBDescription">WiFi Sync</div>I have tried everything mentioned in the forum, but am still unable to sync. The last one that worked was 3 weeks ago.

I can see the iPhone on my router and have even set a dedicated DHCP reservation. The problem is that the iPhone 1Password application updated in August (v 3.5.2) keeps stating that the connection is not authorized and yet it won't pop up the password authorization window so that I can authorize the connection. The same thing happens on an ad hoc ip address.

I have also tried to ping the iPhone and it works from the router, but not the MB Pro. When I attempt to ping the ip from Network Utility I get "No route to host" and "Host is down".

I have wasted hours trying to fix this and I'm frustrated and need a solution.

Thanks.

Hi FL_Joe, thanks for posting. I'm sorry you're having trouble trying to sync. You note that an ad hoc network is not successful either. The next step is to sync using your device's IP address. If that works, it shows that Bonjour needs some help. These steps are described in our Troubleshooting Guide. If it still doesn't work, there is something unique going on that is, unfortunately, out of our scope of support.

If you are still unable to get Wi-Fi sync to work, you might like to look at one of our other sync solutions. We have put together a brief tutorial that explains how to set up Automatic Syncing using Dropbox. Please have a look and give it a try. Let us know how it turns out.
