1P 3.4.2 - Password History

Hi mr_twister,
I am sorry for the late reply.
The Password History for each login cannot be disabled. It also cannot be cleared. It is a data protection feature which is especially useful when using the built-in Strong Password Generator. If you have history items that look like 2rKZvTXwxaUQ9GsFoVJt, TAXgQko3aCEKquxH7LFP, and W6qAVUnN7GFjQTLgecCE, it becomes clear why you would want to have such a feature. Just in case I mess up and save a new password for a login item, I am able to recover the previous one without panic. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
The Password History is encrypted the same way the rest of your sensitive data is and cannot be accessed without the master password.
I hope that helps. Please let me know.Flag 0 -

I believe I may have misunderstood your question. This is actually an issue we will be resolving soon if you are referring to the literal text: "your password" (without the quotes).

Thanks for reply.
I like password history. I see how it can be useful. I only think that the initial 'your password' placeholder should not appear there. Or at least I should be able to remove it myself. I also find manual old password removal feature useful. Old passwords may be logged automatically but I should be able to remove excessive ones, I think. Due to various reasons I may find some old passwords to be inappropriate there, including passwords that were automatically saved by mistake before I completed entering all the information for a record.Flag 0 -
This was just fixed in 3.5.0.BETA-1. If you are not interesting in running beta versions, please stay tuned for the next stable release. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
