Not working on New Yorker digital archives

Hello,

I understand it's not a standard login form, but just informing you all that 1password isn't auto-saving/auto-filling the login form on http://archives.newyorker.com/.

Thanks!

    Hi Matt,

I'm sorry for the trouble you're having with the New Yorker Archives site and 1Password.

I've had a look at the code for the site and the login form is not using unique names for the fields. Without names to associate with, 1Password cannot place any saved values into the form.

You may have some luck in contacting the web site's developers and requesting them to make an easy modification. If they will use unique 'name=' clauses on each of the form's fields then 1Password would be able to do its Fill activity. If the web site developers need assistance in making this change they can contact us and we'd be glad to guide them through it.

    Hope that makes sense,

    Agreed, Stu.

I would add that many web developers do not even realize when they make these mistakes and are glad to fix the issue!
