Go & Fill in Safari Tabs
in Mac
Forgive me if this question has been answered, but I'm not seeing anything with search terms I'm using. When I use Go & Fill from Safari toolbar it is opening sites in new windows which is driving me nuts. Where is the setting to open in tabs? User guide says "Either way, the site’s URL will open in a new tab or window in your default browser, the relevant credentials will be filled in for you, and the form will be submitted to get you into the site." I can't figure out how to switch to tabs.

Welcome to the 1password forums,
This behavior is determined by the the browser. Check its preferences for Safari its under the tabs section <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
If you use Glims it has some settings as well.
As a side note if you want something that will let you choose browsers for each link try choosy

You just greatly improved my life -- and not just with 1Password. I NEVER knew that option was there. Thank you!!!!!

Your Welcome
I asked the exact same question in what seems like a long time ago now. Glad to be able to help out.Flag 0 -
Hi there, when I use the CMD, OPTION, / keys I'd like to be able to have whatever login I select open up in a new tab in safari, not a new window. It works okay in Firefox, is there anything I need to change?
Thanks!!
EDIT:
Found the solution here: http://forum.agile.ws/index.php?/topic/1948-go-fill-in-safari-tabs/page__p__11498__hl__%2Bsafari+%2Bwindow__fromsearch__1#entry11498Flag 0 -

Glad you found the solution, 1Password just fires the link off to Safari, or whatever your default browser happens to be, and as noted in the linked thread, Safari itself controls where it opens those links. This took me a while to figure out too when I first moved to Safari from Firefox.Flag 0
