<div class="IPBDescription">probably a repeat, but still it would be nice.</div>Hi,

I would like to suggest adding the concept of bookmarks to 1password. That would be storing urls/links to websites with out having to repeat the existing login information.

With 1password on iOS devices and soon Windows, it would be nice to have cross machine bookmarks.

Thanks,

-jon

p.s. You guys have a great product.

    Hi Jon.pdx,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure I fully understand it, though. 1Password is intended to be a password manager. There are some great tools like Xmarks and our own AllBookmarks to help keep your bookmarks synced and unified, respectively. It sounds like that might be what you are looking for.

We do offer 1Password for Windows already, by the way. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

I hope that helps. Please let me know!

P.S. Thanks for the kind words! We have great customers! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />

    hi khad,

    I was thinking of both:

the connivence of having my bookmarks and passwords in one tool that already does a great job of sync'ing info

and the problem of using those same passwords and bookmarks on Apple's iOS devices.
For my iPod Touch, I would prefer to just use your browser environment where I can natively use my passwords with out copying and pasting them, but then to also have my bookmarks in that same environment would be helpful. (I would guess that any interaction between the 1password for iOS and Apple's own mobile safari is out of the question, so I'm thinking that 1password might be able to do both.)

Perhaps if the 1password iOS browser was capable of working with something like Xmarks, that might be do able.

I can see how making these 1password bookmarks work exactly like traditional bookmarks might be a pain, but if you just offered them as an offshoot of the existing 1password structure for the active site that would still be very useful: either from the toolbar icon, the keyboard combos, or as a submenu/pop out list(?) on iOS.

    thanks again,

    -jon

p.s. I didn't realize that the Windows version was completed. I must have missed that.
