search doesn't find everything in 1P

I did a search (from the 1P button in a browser) for a certain string and found 3 hits. I knew there was a 4th entry, so I opened the 1P app and searched for the same string, and found 4 hits. I'm attaching two screenshots showing what I'm talking about.



Unless I'm missing something (quite possible!), it appears that the search from within the browser doesn't find everything that's stored in 1P.

Unless I were to claim, "PHOtosHOP!!11!11!!!" it is pretty clear that you are having this problem. I am sorry to see it. I have been having a difficult time trying to recreate this, though. Perhaps someone else can chime in with a method of recreating this scenario.



There does not seem to be any logic to why it would not include that fourth one. Have you tried clearing 1Password's cache (Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache) and restarting your machine?



Let me know. I would love to get this fixed.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'll try clearing the cache. Another reason to suspect a cache issue is that today I created a new 1P login for a site, changed my mind, and deleted it, all within the 1P app. When I did a search a bit later, the deleted item was in the search! So, it's as if (under some circumstances) the search function is picking up stuff it shouldn't and NOT picking up stuff it should, perhaps due to the cache being stale. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the followup. At this point, clearing the cache SEEMS to have resolved the issue. I say "SEEMS" because as we all know, "correlation doesn't imply causation"! I'll keep an eye out to see if the issue recurs...if/when it does, I'll do an immediate cache clear to see if that results in an equally immediate resolution.
