When does automatic Dropbox syncing occur?

The Dropbox sync for 1P (iOS) is a fabulous idea, but I'm confused about something...

If the iOS device is set up for "automatic" syncing, when does this take place? Each time the 1P app is opened on the iOS device?

Yep. As I understand it, your 1Password for iPhone data is updated whenever you enter your unlock code. In essence, whenever you launch the app "for the first time." If you are switching back and forth between apps in iOS4, it will not constantly drain your battery and use your data connection. It will, however, sync changes when it has not been used in a little bit. We figured the bet way to determine how long "a little bit" should be was by using the timeout you set for the Unlock Code Auto-Lock.

Changes made in 1Password for iPhone are also immediately synced back to Dropbox.

As of right now, without multi-tasking on the iPad, your data is synced whenever the 1Password for iPad is launched.
