Fill & Submit grayed-out in Firefox

I often, when I want to log in to a site, get to see this in Firefox:

When I restart the browser all works well for a bit but suddenly everything is grayed-out again. Very annoying. I haven't tried to see if it's the same in Safari, since I prefer to use Firefox. Both Firefox and 1Password are up to date. I reset cache and other settings in 1password as suggested in the support files. But so far no luck. Any help?
