Knox influence initial file size
<div class="IPBDescription">How to set the initials size of the created sparse bundle</div>Hi,
just testing Knox to move away from teh already used MAC sparsbundles (i.e. more of a more comfort, and using more Bundels ....) Just created a view with 256 bit encryption, ending with almost 600 MB after creation. Copy daat into the disk, increases the size ( so its not a initial empty, more a initial used....) Just wondering, I havn't notice such a waste when using MAC bundles nativly? (But I didn't watch it)
Is there any way to get the size to an initially reasonable value and be able to growth over time. I still inted to synch/backup this to dropbox but wasting 600MB for 30MB of content seems somehow a waste.

Hi Bernd,
Welcome to the forums! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Have you tried opening Knox's preferences, selecting the vault, and clicking the "Compact Vault" button?
Please let me know how it goes. Thanks!Flag 0
