Can i syn to idisk?

Hi naroter,
At the moment 1Password doesn't support syncing with iDisk or MobileMe on any platform. Many users have reported that iDisk is incredible slow, making it prone to conflicts, data loss, and even data corruption.
In previous versions of 1Password for Mac we supported MobileMe syncing as we used the standard OS X Keychain format. From 1Password 3 onwards we now exclusively use our own Agile Keychain format, which at first we provided instructions on how to sync this with iDisk, however we recently found out that Apple only recommends iDisk to be used for "static" files like photos.
Since the Agile Keychain is "actively" edited, and Apple only recommends iDisk be used for static files, we cannot recommend, and therefore support, using iDisk for syncing your 1Password data. That doesn't mean MobileMe sync is off the cards, we're looking into other ways to do handle this, but for now our only 'cloud based' sync solution is Dropbox, which we've found is more reliable, faster and in many ways far more advanced than iDisk, and they offer either 2gb of storage for free or 50 or 100gb of storage for a monthly or annual fee.
If you'd like to read more about Dropbox syncing and 1Password, we've created a guide all about this in our user guide here:

Sorry I don't have a more positive answer for you on the iDisk front,Flag 0 -

Maybe its because I live less than 100 miles from Apples new Data center but has anyone noticed that iDisk seems to loading faster, its no Dropbox. LOL but it seriously seems to load faster, I even removed some files that I haven't seen in a year, almost a gig.
Usually iDisk takes forever to remove them, it just carried on with no real wait needed. Was it a fluke ? I was impressed then and now looking at some of my other archived data. It still loads better than just a year ago.
Upload is still slow in my opinion but it doesnt seem to be as slow as it was.Flag 0 -

Thanks for that Tommy,
Well that's some good news, it would be great to see iDisk become a usable solution again. For me, the key advantage with Dropbox is that the data is on my Mac first and then synced to Dropbox, so even if I'm offline I can still access my data.Flag 0 -
Not that I am exactly an iDisk evangelist, but you can set iDisk to do something similar to Dropbox (regarding keeping a local copy). System Preferences > MobileMe > iDisk > iDisk Sync, click the "Start" button. I have never used this, but I think my sister had the option enabled and never complained to me (her Mac tech) about it. Take it with a grain of salt. I love Dropbox and have not had a single problem with it since even before 1Password supported iOS syncing via it. Dropbox has always been fast and flawless for me. Those are two words I have never been able to use when describing iDisk. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_tongueout.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-P' />
Tommy, I hope you are right about it improving, but I have been abused by iDisk too much to try to go back to that relationship again at this point. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' /> I happily pay my yearly MobileMe fee for cloud syncing of my contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and system preferences. I sure wish it was cheaper, but I tried foregoing it and using Google's Exchange services. I caved after a couple days. It just works too well for that. Maybe they can ramp up iDisk and future users will not be scared off from iDisk as I have been. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />Flag 0
