Firefox error and work around
I was getting some odd issues with 1 Password and Firefox after the latest upgrade. I'm using Firefox 3.6.10
The icons 1 Passwords didn't look right and sometimes either the button, the 1 Password menu bar or keyboard shortcuts would do nothing until a browser restart, and even then it didn't always help.
Turns out I had messed with the browser extensions in the 1 Password preferences and installed both the Firefox 3 and 4 extensions. Turning off 4 solved all of the problems.
This is still a bug, but with an easy workaround. I assume some kind of check or fix needs to be added at sometime for people that do the same, but at least it is easy to get back to normal.
I don't have the beta of Firefox 4 installed so I don't know if it is a problem for people who use both 3 and 4.

Hi Kolvir,
Welcome to the forums! Thanks for taking the time to share that. I'm glad to hear that everything is working well for you. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
We have heard reports of this issue but cannot duplicate it in our labs. For example, I do not have Firefox 4 installed (and never have installed it). I have both extensions checked in 1Password with no ill effects in Firefox 3. Firefox 3 simply lists the Firefox 4 extension as "Not compatible with Firefox 3.6.10."
We will continue to investigate the issue, but it can be hard to fix something that we can't readily duplicate. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sadsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-(' />

NOTE: I am currently running 3.5.0.BETA-1, but this behavior was the same in 3.4.4 (and prior).Flag 0
