Firefox listed multiple times in preferences
<div class="IPBDescription">Mutiple Firefox profiles are listed separately</div>I've been using 1P in Safari and Firefox for more than two years, and today I noticed something odd.
There should only be two Firefox accounts listed, but there are six. Although 1P is currently enabled and working in FF, there are no checkmarks in any of the FF accounts.
There used to be checkmarks for Safari and my main FF account only.
I deleted ws.agile.1Password.plist, but the browser selection is unchanged. Also rebuilt the data file.
After deleting the pref file, I did have to check one of the FF boxes to enable it, so apparently the file was a bit messed up.
What should I do to correct the browsers shown?

Hey Rebel,
Sorry about the confusion. It looks like you are using multiple Firefox profiles. Please take at look at our own documentation on the issue and that of Mozilla as well.
If you want to remove Firefox profiles, just be careful not to delete ones that you are using or contain data you will need in the future. The "Don't Delete Files" option is always the safer way to go.
I hope that helps. Please let me know! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Thanks!Flag 0 -

Thanks, I stated there should be two FF accounts listed. Actually, there should be three - I thought I was down to two, but I see I still have three, and that's all I have. So why are there SIX showing - duplicates of each account?
I have my primary account (my name), one account called Guest, and one account called Test.

Firefox 3 and Firefox 4 (currently in beta) have different extensions. 1Password has separate extensions for both and also lists each of your profiles for both. Take a closer look at the first screenshot you posted. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Cheers!Flag 0 -

Yeah, I was curious about the FF 3 and FF 4, but didn't know what that meant (still don't, really). So even though I don't have FF 4 installed, 1P still shows the extra extensions in the window?Flag 0 -
Yes, as with all the other extensions. I do not have DEVONagent installed right now, but it is still listed on the Browsers pane in Preferences. It is better to have them always listed than to try to detect their presence which may not always be accurate if someone is keeping an app somewhere besides directly in their Applications folder. All the extensions will always be listed. For your own sake and for ours. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />Flag 0

When opening Preferences > Browsers I've thought it would be useful if there was an indicator of which listed apps can't currently be located (e.g. using Launch Services)… for everyone's sake? <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -
Thanks, Khad. The suggestion seemed related enough to the original topic to post here instead of starting a new thread.Flag 0

The screenshot says it all. What's going on with this screen? How do I know if the browser I have installed is Firefox 3, Firefox 3 (firefox3), or Firefox 4 (firefox3)??? I'm at least pretty sure it's not Firefox 4..... Seriously horrible user experience.Flag 0
