I sync my Trēo to my Windows laptop, not my Mac. Just tried generating a .pdb file using 1P/Mac, moving it to my Dropbox, and then installing from there. It works, but having this native functionality in 1P/Win would be far better.
I've been using two security programs on my Palm that were abandoned long ago--Certicom's Secure Memo and Brian Schau's SecureIt. I would probably sleep better if I moved everything over to a product that is still being supported. 1P/Palm is certainly a candidate, but only if I have some reason to believe that it won't become abandonware any time soon!
PalmOS is no doubt on its last legs, but I'll think long and hard before I buy a smartphone that won't run an emulator.
