Hello 1P4Android users,

The new 1.6.6 Beta release is available today on Market.

There are new features in this new release you will definitely find useful

and some bug fixes.

There was an issue reported by some customers that they on some rare occasions they could not login

with the valid password, this issue was very hard to reproduce and has been fixed in this release.

There were also some other bug fixes.

There was a new design for the Pin screen which I found more attractive than the previous one and it

resizes properly in landscape mode.New application visual theme was introduced in this release which

may be appealing to some users.

There were no changes to the Dropbox synchronization process as of yet, they are definitely coming in the

next releases.

Please update your phones with the new release and give it a try.

And always share with us your suggestions and recommendations on how to make 1P4A better !

Best Regards,

Gene

I keep setting up a PIN so i don't have to use the master password and whenever I close and reopen 1Password on Android it keeps asking me for the master password instead of the PIN.

very frustrating. any ideas or ways I can help debug this issue? I am using dropbox synching if it matters.

There are two problems with the landscape/portrait feature:

    a) switching between portrait & landscape mode resets the login/password form; i.e., we loose all selection (SD vs. Dropbox) and all form data (i.e., login and/or password)

<img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> in portrait mode, switching from the login to password field does scroll up the form to see the password field entry but in landscape mode, the form doesn't scroll up and the password field is obscured either by the virtual keyboard or is off the bottom of the screen.

    Hi nicolas,

Thank you for the feedback, I will be reviewing resizing logic in the next releases.

Wast majority of 1P4A customers use portrait mode most often.

Username/password disappear when we switch modes because the window should redraw itself and as a result all data is reset too.

I am not very sure about landscape mode on the setup screen,

how important it is, but will try to take a look at that in the next releases.

Again, will be waiting for more of your feedback on Forum !

    Regards,

    Gene
