Secure erase files

I want to securely delete a file which is in a Knox vault. Can I just trash and delete or do I need to secure empty the trash ? Thanks

Secure Empty Trash is exactly what you are looking for. For performance reasons, it may be better to empty your insecure trash items first, move the vault items to Trash, and then securely empty just those vault items as it can take a a bit to securely empty trash on a large number of items.
