Suggestion: support for ageing weak passwords

<div class="IPBDescription">enhancement requests</div>So some sites have really lame limitations on the level of password complexity they accept, resulting in passwords that may be subject to brute force attacks and such. It would be really great if 1Password would allow ageing policies based on their strength, such that it flags weaker passwords for more frequent rotation. Does that make sense as an RFE?

    Hey buffyg,

Thanks for the suggestion. At this time we do not have plans to introduce any kind of alarm/calendaring system which such a feature would require. We never say "never," though, so who knows? In fact, we are always considering new ways of doing things, but in the meantime you can sort the passwords by password strength (in the Widescreen or Traditional views). View > Layout > …

Just make sure that the password strength column (View > Columns > Password Strength) is enabled and click it's column header. Click it again to reverse the sort order.

    I hope that helps. Please let me know! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
