Feature Request- Have Go & Fill Login Remember most frequently used logins

It would be really nice if the Go & Fill Login window behaved like Launchbar/Quicksilver/Spotlight in that it would remember the most used sites and move it up the list. (it's one of the things that makes Launchbar/Quicksilver so powerful). If I go to a specific site most frequently, there's a good chance I'd want to go there again.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the post, that's a really interesting idea, and I can see that working quite well. The only thing I could see as a potential issue would be some users would prefer 1Password to not keep a history of the site's they visit, although the simple solution to this is to make it a preference.

I'll pass this along to our developers, and while I can't promise if and when it'll be implemented I can say that you have my support at the very least <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

On the subject of cool features, and as potential 'stop gap' solution, have you used our '1-Click Bookmarks' feature, just drag a login from within 1Password to your browser's bookmarks toolbar, click it and *boom* you're taken to the site and the details for that login are filled in for you automagically.

Thanks again for the feedback, we really do appreciate it <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, the bookmark technique doesn't seem to work on every website (ie. Scottrade), unlike the "Go & Fill" option.

You're welcome, Paul, although I'm sorry to hear the 1-Click Bookmarks aren't working for you on every site, we've seen some issues with this depending on how the site handles the extra URL information we pass to link to your 1Password login.

Sorry I don't have a better solution right now,

I've been playing around with it and here's what I came up with:

    1. The URL that's saved in 1Password makes a big difference. If the bookmark doesn't work, then try editing the URL that's saved in 1Password. ie. use http://www.website.com instead of http://www.website.com/welcome3.html. The "Go & Fill" option seems to be more flexible with the URLs.

    2. Launchbar can read bookmark files in html format. Drag the sites that you want from 1Password into Safari's bookmark list and then export those bookmarks. Edit the file in TextEditor to remove the URLs you don't want to include and then in Launchbar add a new "Web Bookmarks" -> "Custom HTML Bookmarks file..." and select the bookmarks file that you just exported.

I used a custom bookmark because I didn't want Launchbar to index *all* of my bookmarks.

An alternative suggestion is if 1Password could export selected logins as a bookmark html file. That would at least bypass the need to go through Safari to export the bookmarks and then editing the file.

    paul7,

Thanks for the tips! At this time 1Password does not support exporting your data as a "standard" bookmarks.html file.
