1PasswordAnywhere locks after 60 seconds

This concerns 1Password3 in conjunction with Dropbox and Chrome on a Windows7 machine. I didn't see any other forum for 1PasswordAnywhere, so I'm posting here. I have been a user of 1Password3anywhere for a while now and this problem only started showing up about 2 months ago. I have the 1Password3 files synced with my Dropbox account and the files are appearing fine in Chrome, but my problem arises when I have the program open. After I have copied and pasted a particular field from the program, 1Password will automatically lock itself after a couple of seconds. Before this problem, 1Password would leave itself open until I decided to lock it again. Is there a way to get 1Password to do this again, because right having to retype my master password over and over again to get the program to open is quickly sapping my patience. Thanks.

    Hi Ninhalem,

    Welcome to the forums!

For security reasons, 1PasswordAnywhere has an auto-lock timeout of 60 seconds which is not currently configurable.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you at this time, but we always appreciate the feedback. I'll take your post as a vote to either change this or at least make it configurable. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    Thanks!
  • I'd like to "me too" this thread, as I've found this behavior rather annoying too. It's especially bothersome (for me) when I'm on a remote Unix shell and sudo'ing every so often, as I like to use 1pw to not need to stop to type a password at the sudo prompt. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
