Hi sonomaellen,
Welcome to the forums! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
1Password will automatically prompt you to save your logins. Just login to websites like MSN.com as you normally would in Safari and 1Password will grab all the necessary information right from the page. For more in formation about saving logins, please see the "Saving and Restoring Logins" section of our 3-Minute Expert Guide.
I hope that helps. Please let me know.

Currently 1Password only has extensions for web browsers. It would take considerable time and effort to write a plugin for each individual application. We try to focus on browsers since that is where most folks will be using the greatest number of logins. Consider saving your password in Mail (which will store it encrypted in the OS X keychain). Make sure your OS X account has a good password, since that is the only thing standing between your OS X keychain data and the saved logins. (The OS X keychain is separate from your 1Password data file.)
Of course, you can certainly save information about your e-mail accounts in 1Password (File > New Item > New Account… > Email Account). From here you can copy and paste information as needed, but I find it simpler to save my account in Mail than copy and paste my password from 1Password every time. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
I hope that helps. Please let me know.
