Syncing the devices

I guess my question is: if you have all three devices (iMac, iPhone and iPad), is there a system for syncing the three so that you don't end up with iPad apps on the iPhone and vice versa? Or is this a non-issue? I know there are a number of apps that are compatible with both mobile devices, I guess i was just wondering what would happen if you ended up with an iPad app on an iPhone. Would it cause any problems? Am I making any sense here, or do I just sound like an idiot?

I appreciate any feedback. Thank you in advance.

Hello Nico's Dad, and welcome to the forums,

There is not a way to install an iPad app on an iPhone at this time. You can install iPhone apps on an iPad, or, better yet, a universal app will run natively on both iPhone and iPad. Fortunately, that is exactly what our own 1Password Pro app is. It is like buying a "boxed set" of both our 1Password for iPhone and 1Password for iPad apps.

It sounds like in your case, you would need a 1Password for Mac license and 1Password Pro (which will install on both your iOS devices). If you have already purchased one of our individual iOS apps, that's no problem. Simply purchase the other "companion app" for your other iOS device. Purchasing 1Password for iPhone and 1Password for iPad is identical in every way to purchasing 1Password Pro.

Then you just need to set up Dropbox syncing to keep it all up to date. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    Thanks!
