Changes in app not immediately seen in Safari

<div class="IPBDescription">Go & Fill keyboard shortcut</div>I've noticed that if I make changes to a login in the app, Safari doesn't see the changes until I quit and re-launch safari.
For example, I have a login called "Agilewebsolutions." (For this forum.) Since I might not remember your company name, I decide to rename that login as "1password forum."
So I launch the app, edit the login, and click save. Then I want to test the change to make sure it works. So I switch back to safari, and use the "Go & Fill Login" keyboard shortcut, and then type "1password," it doesn't show up. It will show up under the old name of "Agilewebsolutions."
This problem only affects the keyboard shortcut. If instead I click on the 1P icon, then navigate to "Go & Fill Login -> All ->" it does show up there.
Quitting & re-launching Safari fixes this problem, but I'd prefer to not have to do that. (For example, if have a bunch of windows and/or tabs open, I really don't want to quit & relaunch Safari.)
Is there any way to force the change to take effect immediately?

Hi Steven,
I'm really sorry for the trouble here, this sounds like it may be a cache issue within the Safari plugin. Could you try going to Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache from within 1Password. ALl being well this should prevent any further delay in the items being updated to the 'Go & Fill' HUD.
Please let me know how it turns out,

It made no difference.
If I access Go & Fill from the "1P" button in the Safari toolbar, it reflects any updates I've made in the 1Password app.
But if I access Go & Fill from "Edit menu -> Show Logins," (or with the equivalent keyboard shortcut) it doesn't show changes I've made since launching Safari.
Since I use the keyboard shortcut 99% of the time, I find this frustrating. I admit that it's not a problem I run into frequently, since I don't often change the names of my Logins. But the fact that it works when invoked with the button, but not the menu item, is annoying.Flag 0 -
Hi Steven,
I was able to reproduce what I believe to be the behavior you describe and have filed this in our internal tracker for resolution in a future update:
While Safari's browser toolbar menu displays changes made to logins in 1Pm immediately (1P > Go & Fill Login > All), these changes are not reflected in the HUD (Edit > Show Logins).
To reproduce:

Change a login title in 1P

Edit > Show Logins in Safari

cf. 1P > Go & Fill menu
The correct, updated values are inserted when "going" and filling, but the displayed titles and URLs are only updated with a relaunch of Safari.
Please let me know that if I have correctly understood the issue. Thanks!Flag 0 -

Hey there, stevenjklein! Thanks for asking!
In a way, yes: We have been hard at work behind the scenes on our new extension for Safari 5.1, which is in beta and should be released any day now! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0
