Getting started
<div class="IPBDescription">newby struggleing</div>Good evening,
I have purchased ipassword for my mac, set up the login password, is this the master password, I have ipassword on my iphone with a login password andtIpassword on my ipad, with the same 4 number password.
when i try to synch them together using the wi-fi mode they all ask for a master password, this i do not have and do not think i have set one up. please assist as the program seems good but difficult for a newby, to this program and I have to admit I am not to hot on computers but willing to listen and learn.
Thank you in advance

Hi David,
Welcome to the forums!
Have you looked through our Wi-Fi Sync Troubleshooting Guide?
Before I go too far, I just want to mention that we now offer a method of syncing that is fully automatic, does not require you to even be near your computer, and is our recommended method of syncing.
With Dropbox syncing, you can keep 1Password up to date from across town or across the country — anywhere you have an Internet connection. You Mac doesn't even have to be turned on!
I would strongly advise going with Dropbox syncing. It is more robust and just as free as Wi-Fi syncing. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />Flag 0 -

David,
One of us wrote up a post that I think may help here. (and speak of him and he will appear <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />) Post ninja ' ed by khad
May I also suggest you give Dropbox syncing a look its more robust and well being biased here its just better IMHO.
