[Feature Request] Add password to login
in iOS
<div class="IPBDescription">Password generator added to add login</div>Hi -
First off - I love so many features of the 1Password app on the iPhone such as the dropbox sync, good security, great interface etc. Really is a great product and along with the windows programme is worth every penny.
One of the main uses that I have of the app, is generating passwords, particularly for multiple logins that change every month at work. However, currently the password generating feature is not built into the "add login" interface. To generate a 'random' password for a login, you have to generate in the add password section, save it, copy, paste into the login and then delete the password entry. All in all a bit of a hassle! My question is therefore, is this a feature that's been thought about or are there plans in the pipeline to add the "generate password" to the add login section of the app??
Thanks again for the product - it's definitely one of the apps that I recommend to friends thinking about getting an iphone

Hi Mike,
Thanks so much for the kind words about 1Password for iPhone, we really do appreciate them.
We've got some great plans for the future of our iOS apps, including better ways to generate passwords for logins and possibly even changing passwords as Gary mentioned, but it's all very much in super sekrit development right now so I can't really share any more details.
So, watch this space and we'll have some more updates once we've got something to show <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Thanks for the feedback, we really do appreciate everyone who makes such a great contribution to the future of 1Password.

And don't forget that if you are syncing with 1Password on your Mac, you can generate a password when editing a login by simply clicking the "Generate" button next to the password field. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />Flag 0
