Bank of America login problems

Bank of America uses a two-step login process: (1) Online ID on first page and (2) Passcode with a SiteKey on the second page.

First problem is 1PW seems to insert Online ID in incorrect place on first page and doesn't always pick up Passcode spot on second page, usually resulting in me having to copy and paste manually from 1PW client, instead of automatically loading from browser extension (in Safari).

Any thoughts on making BofA logins seamless?

See if this faq will help you out.

I hope it gets you going if not please let us know.

Also you may need to resave your logins manually this is how most of us using BOA have gotten the site to work w/ 1p

I use BoA with 1P (have since 1P was released) and it works well for me. My recommended solution is to recreate the saved logins for both pages.

Manually paste your passcode (page 1) into the page and then choose "Save Login" and then choose "Replace xxx" (your previous saved login)

Repeat this process for page 2

It should work after this... The only issue I have experienced is that Page 1 will not auto-submit after a while because BoA makes changes to the page... you can repeat the first step each time this occurs if it bothers you.

I can get an auto submit and fill on the first page if I set the starting page location like this:

https://sitekey.bankofamerica.com/sas/signonScreen.do?state=MA (set your state code as appropriate)

(someone in 1PW CS suggested this some time ago....) - BofA can be a PIA at times

(substitute your state code as appropriate).
