MobileMe (me.com) login change
<div class="IPBDescription">Now requires addition of @me.com to username</div>Hi,
I just saw a rumour about me.com issues and logging in so went to test it. I tried 1Password and my login was rejected. I left the user name the same and just typed my password and all was fine. As 1Password didn't ask me to update it can the passwords match in 1Password. Any ideas what might be happening here?
Best wishes
Michael

MobileMe will work fine with autosubmit if you edit the username to include the "@me.com" bit. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';-)' />
So, from start to finish:
1. Edit MobileMe login
2. Append @me.com to your username
3. There is no step three

I thought I had tried that, but it turns out I had two versions in my keychain. Now I have found the right one, it works. Thanks for the tip. It doesn't help that Apple adds the @me.com on screen for you <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Cheers

khad <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> you out did me on this one works fine. Thanks to who ever snipped my earlier post. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -
Tommy, not a problem. I would have left it but didn't want to confuse folks. It took us a minute to figure out how to deal with the recent MobileMe changes. That's the best I've got right now, but it ain't too bad. Short of actually having 1Password "reach in" and modify your username for you — which would be a bit too gropey-TSA for our tastes — I think it's pretty good. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />Flag 0

No problem that was a sincere thanks and you did avoid confusion by doing that.
A bit to much like the TSA... I like that. Getting slightly off topic, I use to work in a detention facility. Let me just say Strip searches and groping folks ain't no ball of fun for the officer either. I worked in intake and release and you see a lot really weird stuff. I could tell stories all evening. But thats another topic.
Now back to passwords <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Nice find on the Mm thing. I would never have thought to do that... ok after it really got on my last nerve and made me a little ill, I may have had to come up with something. But I don't log in enough for that to happen.Flag 0 -
Hi Ajahn,
Yep I was having this error until I added @me.com to the end of my user name inside my 1P saved login. That little bit should fix you up I just tested it to make sure and without it the password error prompt pops up. As long as its added you will be logged into Mm.Flag 0 -

Ah, yes -- the unfortunately named "intake and release." <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
