Hey Patrick,
The best way to get information into 1Password on your iOS device is to sync with 1Password for Mac or Windows. If you do not already have a license, I suggest you download the free trial.
Of course, you can also use 1Password for iOS without syncing. Please take a look at our Getting Started guide for more information. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Please let me know how it turns out. Thanks!Flag 0 -

I have d/loaded the beta windows version but not installed yet. My question was not for syncing but I'd like to add my username (digits) and password to my bank online website on 1Password. Do I add via 'Login' or via 'Accounts'? I understand 'Wallet' is just to input my bank details such as account number, account name, address etc.
I am also confused. Whats the difference between 'Logins' and 'Accounts'? Am I to create my bank's online website under Logins or Accounts?
Rgds

The simplest explanation is that Logins are, well, Logins (for websites). Accounts can be any kind of account. I have some FTP accounts, iTunes account, etc. saved. Logins are linked to a URL and will fill your username and password into the appropriate fields on the page.
Our recommended method for adding a Login is directly within your browser on your Mac or Windows machine. The 1Password extension will be able to grab all the form field names and whatever you have typed into them and save it all automatically.
I hope that helps. Please let me know. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />Flag 0 -

My bank has a iPhone 4 app which I use to do banking etc and there is no browser involvement. It's only at home I use the web browser.
Under this circumstances, should I create a Login or Account?
I understand that 1Password does not work on apps outside of browsers so I will have same issue if I use the PayPal and eBay apps instead of via the browser.

Since the apps you describe are tied to web services, I would save them as Logins. This way you can use the Login in your browser with 1Password for Mac or Windows. There is no need to duplicate a Login in Accounts either since you can always copy and paste the username and password into another app right from the Login item. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />Flag 0
