KNOX: Perpetual License Can't Be Registered for V2.0.8 (135)

<div class="IPBDescription">KNOX: Perpetual License Issue</div>Greetings.

I am a registered KNOX owner who purchased a perpetual license (01/08/2008) prior to KNOX's acquisition by Agile.

I cannot apply my old license key to the most current version of KNOX V2.0.8 (135)

Please advise on a resolution or how to request a new license key.

Note: I have already logged a separate support request with Agile (via the web interface) with my contact and old license key details. The automatic license retriever and sent me a license but it was for 1 Password, not KNOX.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums, Ice9ine. I'm sorry you are having this problem.

I searched our support records and was unable to find a message from you (based on the address you used to sign up for the forums). Perhaps you mistyped your address in the web form. No matter. I am happy to help now. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

I merged your old account which was associated with your Knox license (and tied to an old address of yours) with your current account. I just resent your license keys which will now include Knox — formerly tied to the old address but now updated to use your current address.

Make sure you check your spam folder if you don't see the e-mail in your inbox.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Cheers!

We are always here to help. Sorry we didn't get to it sooner on here, but I am glad everything worked out.
  • I too, seem to be having problems with the Perpetual license I purchased in late 2005. I tried sending support an email through your web site but I have heard not back. I hope you can help. I have all my emails and serial/license number from the original purchase. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jeff, I’m sorry for the delay, we’re a bit short on staff this week with Macworld happening soon. I have several Jeff Whites in our system, could you PM me your email address that you used to purchase Knox 1.0 with and I’ll look it up for you.
  • Hi all,

I'm here with the same problem. I've purchased a lifetime license for Knox on 26 of january 2010.

Today I've downloaded the very last version (2.08 135), installed it and I can't apply my license...

Can you please take a look a this?

    Thanks a lot!

[/quote]Hi Colinus, welcome to the forums!

I have sent you the email with the license information and I’ve also sent you a private message here containing the license information.

I hope that helps, please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you!

    Hello,

I got here from google and it looks like I'm having the same basic problem. I purchased a Single User Perpetual License for Knox on 7/17/06. I'd been getting errors trying to update for ages and didn't even realize that ownership of Knox had changed until I tried out and purchased 1Password.

I attempted to download the most recent version of Knox and use my license info, but it said it was invalid. Unfortunately it looks like the email that I used to register with originally is one I no longer have access to. It was a comcast.net email address with my forum username. I bought 1Password using a gmail.com address (my new address which I, obviously, DO have access to). I have the original registration email on file and can forward it to someone or take whatever other steps are needed to get things transferred. Let me know what I need to do.

    Thank you!
