I have spent more time than I like to admit to, searching for my own answers for a problem with my newly purchased 1Password Pro 3 for iPhone, Touch and iPad. BUT...I can't write a search in the proper box, upper right, because the box with account information refuses to retreat. I'll start simple first, then get on to the main problem after I go to the "big city" [not really] for a bit of Christmas entertainment.

Question: how do I get rid of the "drop down menu" on the Agile Web Solutions Forum > 1Password > 1Password 3 {Leopard and Snow Leopard} page. I am a paying member, love 1Password, but am not able to think creatively enough to solve my problem. Many thanks. I have signed in as mhodges738 etc, etc, etc. I have 2 Intel Macs with 10.6.4. I know the answer is simple and I await a response when I return from a trip in the snow.

Welcome to the forums, mhodges738! I'm sorry you are having this problem.

I am not sure I understand the issue. Could you please take a screenshot so we can see the problem? You can take a screenshot by pressing Command-Shift-3. This will take a picture of your screen and save it to your Desktop. You can attach it to your reply to this message.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

It looks like the screenshot didn't quite make it. No worries. I always forget to click the "Attach This File" button after the "Choose File" button, and I work here! You can even just drag the image onto the "Choose File" button and then click "Attach This File." <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Khad, this is the last try. I still don't see the nice screen you suggested for posting. There are no nice buttons etc in my version, but at this point I really don't care, I just want to get rid of the crazy dropped-down menu! I love 1Password, finally late last night untangled my 4 units so that they all sync via DropBox but the Forum use is not friendly to at least this old user. You have been so kind, I do thank you for not blowing my simple question off, and maybe this one last try will at least show, in way too large an image, what I have tried to get corrected.

Having just previewed this, still no image so...it looks as if I might be able to send just the image. I hope someone can clean this up before it goes live.

Many, many thanks, keep on with the great App.

Oh my goodness, I had been using Firefox. I just changed to Safari and now have the options of Buttons, Choose File etc. !!! The horrible stuck drop-down menu below my login is not there and aside from the hours spent, all seems to be fine on Safari. I am given the option to choose an attachment file, not just OPEN, so just for the sake of closing this down, I think I can send the Firefox disaster.

    It was a hard-won victory, but you've done it! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Thanks so much for posting the screenshot. It is now perfectly clear what the problem (and solution) is not only to the "persisting menu" problem in Firefox but also the difficulty you had attaching a file in Firefox.

Please make sure JavaScript is enabled in Firefox preferences:

If you prefer to leave JavaScript disabled, please try simply pressing Return after entering search terms. It is still functional just partially obscured. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_worried.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':S' />

I hope that helps. Please let me know if there is anything else i can help with.

    Thanks for your kind words. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />

I'm sorry you are still having this trouble. If JavaScript is enabled globally, an extension is likely disabling JavaScript on a per-site basis then. Do you have the NoScript extension installed? That is probably the most common extension which would be causing the problem. Check in Firefox by selecting the menu item Tools > Add-ons. It is definitely a JavaScript issue. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sadsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-(' />

What version of Firefox are you using? You can find out by clicking the Firefox menu in the top left corner and selecting "About Firefox."

It sounds as though you are using an outdated version of the browser, which is what would cause rendering errors like you've indicated.

The latest version of Firefox is 3.6.13, which works on Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

If you do in fact have the latest version already, it is probably an extension issue. In that case, you can try to disable extensions one by one in the add-ons manager.

Thanks for the kind words! If you think there's still something we can help with on your problem with the forums just let us know. But I'm in complete agreement with Khad: you will have to make certain that nothing disabled JavaScript on this site to be able to enjoy all the forum features.
