Roboform migration

<div class="IPBDescription">importing data into 1Password from Roboform</div>hi, I have recently become the proud owner of an iPad, my first Apple product, and I love it. I have used Roboform for years, and now I want to migrate all my log-ins, identity, safenotes etc to 1Password.
I am running RoboForm2Go 7.1.0 on a USB stick, as well as 1Password for Windows 1.0.1.146 on my laptop, and 1Password Pro 3.5.4 on my iPad.
I have done a fair bit of reading and experimenting today, but am running into obstacles:
1/ When I save my log-in list to an .htm file in Roboform, I do not appear to have the option to save the full URL, as I understood from one blogger should be possible.
2/ When I imported the .htm file into 1Password, about half of the log-ins lost all the password information, so a lot of the fields had not been imported. I have about 250 log-ins: could the file just be too big to handle ?
3/ when I try to import Identity or Safenote .htm files, they all end up in the Log-ins folder in 1Password, and I cant re-locate them to the right place. I have tried this several times now, and each time its the same: everything goes into Log-ins.
any ideas how to solve these issues ? would really appreciate some help.
On the plus side, the synching of 1Password across iPad and PC using DropBox is working brilliantly ! I just neet to get the original Roboform data into 1Password properly...

ChrisR53, welcome to the forum!
I have about the same setup (Roboform 6.10), and the Print List command for Passcards displays this dialog box:

In my tests, I have to enable that option for Roboform to export the information 1Password needs to make properly working Logins from the imported data.
Do you not see something similar in your version of Roboform?

I haven't heard any reports of problems related to the number of Logins being imported, so I hope that's not it.
At the worst, you might want to send us an abbreviated version of the export file created by Roboform, so we can see if there's anything "special" about the Passcards that 1Password couldn't convert properly. If you decide to do that, please edit the file to include just a few of the Passcards that don't import correctly, and to replace actual usernames and passwords with "my-username" and "my-password" or something similar. You can send it as an attachment to support@agile.ws and include the URL of this forum thread (http://forum.agile.ws/index.php?/topic/2996-roboform-migration/).

1Password for Windows currently imports only Logins. I hope we'll be able to enhance the import and export features before too long.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and we thank you for your patience.

Thanks, Chris! We think Dropbox is the bee's knees. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -
Hi there and thanks DBrown for getting back to me so quickly (and so thoroughly).
looks like Roboform have done away with the 'full URL' tick-box in version 7. (I guess they want to make it more difficult to export the data ?)
i dont see it anyway: what I see is as attached..
Meantime, after spending a few hours on this today, I find right at the end that Roboform have just brought out an iPad version.... So I think I will give that a go and see how i get on.
but who knows, I might still be heading in your direction if that doesnt work out:
thanks anyway for your help.Flag 0 -

Perhaps they just automatically export the full URL, unconditionally.

Drop by again if there's anything we can do to help, Chris!Flag 0
