Opera Extension
I am using 1Password for windows and I am loving it... however I would like to request/ask when/if there will be a Opera Extension?? Also, another simples idea that could save us some time, a hotkey to auto complete forms when 1pass is unlock on the browser!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Cloaky, welcome to the forums.
it is our policy not to provide any timeframe for any feature requests as this would encourage raising false hopes for our customers and the last thing we want is our customers being disappointed when they don't get what they ask for.
At this moment, we only support the Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome browsers with the Windows version of 1Password. We will look into adding support for more browsers such as Safari and Opera in a future upgrade to 1Password. I do not have a timeframe on this.
We do have a hotkey for autofilling/unlocking, by default it is "Control+\" in all of the supported browsers. You can see more information about the keyboard shortcuts in this help guide: Keyboard Shortcuts.Flag 0 -
I understand now what you're asking, you want to directly auto-fill without the popup. Unfortunately, that's not possible right now. It is something we hope to add in the future but I do not have a timeframe on this.
Right now, use the arrow keys to select the correct Login and then press the Enter key to auto-fill.Flag 0 -
I too would love it! I really like Opera but I always stop using it because of incompatibility with other tools I use. Now that Opera have support for extensions, I can only hope to have 1Password integrate with it soon! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Thanks for the great work guys,

I'm an Opera user that would like to use 1Password, but as I use my browser for all sites it isnt possible. I use Opera on all the sites I visit, 1password, while being useful would be used on a lot less occasions than my browser so it makes no sense to swap to a browser I dislike just to gain the occasional use of one program. I wont install a second browser for use on sites where I might use 1password, its just too much messing around having to remember to switch from a browser I have been using exclusively since before Firefox saw the light of day (or jumped on the tabbed browsing bandwagon)
Its a shame, but there you are. The Opera user base is probably larger than you think due to the amount of client ID spoofing in use. Thats a lot of potential users to be ignoring IMHO
Just My Opinion.... YMMVFlag 0 -
Welcome to the forum, warweezil, and thanks for sharing your opinion.
We understand that people love the tools they love—we do, too!—but the numbers are pretty compelling evidence that it's still best to focus our limited resources on the browsers used by the overwhelming majority of the Windows community.
Thank you for considering 1Password!Flag 0 -

Welcome to the forum, sawa!
As we've said many times, we understand that people want to use the tools they love, but we are firm in our plan to focus our limited resources on the browsers used by the overwhelming majority of the Windows community. The next browser on the list is Safari, as documented in the "issues and features" post at the top of the 1Password for Windows forum.Flag 0
