Issues with 3.5.3 upgrade
Launched 1Password this morning (3.5.3) and it came up prompting for the location of my keychain (though it was already in the right folder when the file selection dialog opened). Selected it again, but all userid's and passwords are now blank. Each time I close and re-open the app it asks me to locate the keychain again.
Also if I manually lock 1P, then unlock, the userid/password details reappear. Each time I close and re-launch the application this repeats.
Anyone else seeing the same?
Thanks,
Tom

Kind of, I upgraded, now when I log into 1password, I see nothing, nothing in the wallet, nothing in logins.
Yet, it still seems to work for me in firefox, with all my info.

Similar here - the logins seem to work from within (any) browser, but data appears missing inside 1P itself. I've raised it with Agile as well, will post back here if/when I get a response.
Thanks,

I'm sorry for the late reply Tom! I'm not sure how we missed your post.

This is a very strange problem! I've never seen this before. Could you please email us your Diagnostics Report? This will help us track down the issue more quickly. You can generate the report from 1Password on your Mac by clicking the Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report... menu item and then sending the report to us at support@agile.ws using Mail.
Please include a link to this thread in your email message so that we can 'connect the dots' and update this thread for everyone else to see.Flag 0 -

I suspect Firefox won't be able to find your data either once you restart it; it sounds like it is remembering some old information.
Can you send us a Diagnostics Report like I asked Tom for? Also, which version of 1Password were you upgrading from?Flag 0 -

Already sent. Subsequently had advice to remove/reinstall, reset permissions, and rebuild data file. I've done all of this and the result is the same. It keeps prompting each time I launch to locate the keychain. I've replied to support and will await further advice.
Thanks,

I wish I had gotten this far. When I upgraded the 1Password button on Firefox disappeared. It is on Safari and works fine, but it is missing from Firefox. Any thoughts about how to resurrect it?Flag 0 -
Flagstaff434, please "Remove All Extensions" and then "Install All Extensions" (Preferences > Browsers), and make sure you are not trying to run Firefox in 32-bit mode when you are running OS X in 64-bit mode. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
Please let me know how it goes.Flag 0 -

It worked perfectly, thank you so muchFlag 0 -
Apologies - meant to come back and post an update after resolving this issue with support, but again due to the lack of forum notification on responses I'd completely forgotten.
In the end, the issue was that the new release behaves differently on startup when the Alt (Option) key is held. In my case, I use a Spark shortcut (Alt+1) to launch 1Password. Although I'm typically not still holding the key, 1P launches quickly enough that it still detects the key being held and this forces it to prompt for the keychain location.
Changing the shortcut to Cmd+1 has temporarily resolved it, though changing things like this that I've used often and for a long time makes relearning a challenge. I really wish the dev's would quit changing shortcuts and/or key functions like this in future releases (recently had a similar issue with Cmd+Alt+1 to fill identity).
Thanks,
