Iniital Launch of 1Passwd Slow

It seems the initial launch of the pc version of 1password is very slow. Once it has been launched it is more responsive and works as expected. Is there a way to preload the app so there is no wait on initial launch?

    Rob, welcome to the forum!



    You can add 1Password to your Windows "startup" group.



    That said, the initial launch will take as long as it takes, so it seems like the better approach would be to figure out what might be causing the initial launch to be slower than you'd like.



    A few questions to jumpstart the investigation:

    [*]Does it seem to be the update check, or something else, that takes too long?

    [*]Are you connecting to the internet through a proxy server?

    [*]What's your usual procedure for launching 1Password?

    With a bit more information, I hope we can explain what's going on and, ideally, make it better.

    For me its the same. The first time I open 1P or the browser plugin needs much more time then the 2nd time. No proxy! I guess its the update check.
