AT&T Login No Longer Working

Recently (past two weeks) 1Password login stopped working for AT&T - both Go & Fill and Fill. The data stored in 1Password is correct, as I can copy and paste to make the login form work.

What is the login url you are using ? I have not had an issue with the ATT login.

    This is the URL:

    https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute?customerType=L

I'm seeing the same issue after ATT updated their payment site.

I'm also seeing this with my .me account login page:

    https://auth.me.com/authenticate?service=mail&ssoNamespace=appleid&formID=loginForm&returnURL=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubWUuY29tL21haWwv&anchor=undefined

Using 'Fill and submit' for .me puts my username in and password but it doesn't submit correctly. I have to manually type in the password and then it goes through.

ATT doesn't fill OR submit ... I double checked my passwords and both are correct.

    Thanks!

    Hey Brian,

Please see my post in the MobileMe login change thread for a MobileMe fix.

Please try saving AT&T the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and choose Save Login.

    3. Set the Action field to Create New Login (or to Replace <login-name>, to update an existing Login item).

    4. Click the Save button.

Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login in Safari at this URL (the one I use myself):

    https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute?goto=welcome

Manually saving a login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Doing this allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

If you are still having trouble, please take a look at our "Website Login Issues" guide:

    http://help.agile.ws/1Password3/login_issues.html

Note especially that editing the login to change the Submit value from "If Autosubmit is ON" to "Never" works on a lot of sites which modify the form before submitting it or are looking for a literal key press or mouse click. This will give you the chance to actually give them what they are looking for by submitting the form yourself rather than allowing 1Password to do it on your behalf.

I hope that helps. Please let me know.

    Thanks!
  • All of those are great tips, and I thought I'd throw in my two cents.

When I initially set up a 1Password login item for a site, I try to find a generic login page and use that. Often, login URLs are conditional or context sensitive. For example, my bank gives me a different login prompt with a different URL based on the service I am trying to access that requires authentication (billpay, account settings, statement history, etc.) If I save any of those as my 1Password login, I get sent to that particular section of the site whenever I use Go & Fill Login, so I prefer to find the main site login page and use that as my starting point. Even if the site design changes and some of the forms or the URLs themselves change for specific services, often the main login page remains unchanged. It can definitely be a time saver.
