Fill & Submit Bug with multiple logins

There appears to be a bug in 1password with regards to how it handles autofill login to sites that have multiple logins in the agile keychain.

Steps to Reproduce:

Create two different twitter logins in your keychain.

Lock your keychain (important)

Browse to twitter.com in Safari

Press Command+\ to perform an auto login
Expected Result:

I expect to be presented with a list of logins that match this site and given an opportunity to chose which to use.

Actual Result:

No choice is given. I'm logged in to one of the matching logins. Always the same one (perhaps the most recently modified?)

Other Notes:

Once the keychain is unlocked, this appears to work as expected. For instance, After doing this, I can log out of twitter, go back to the main page, press command+\ and I'm presented the login list as I expect.

Also, I have not attempted to repro this in Firefox. I don't think Chrome is applicable because as far as I know it will not perform an auto login.

Actually - I take back the bit about it working fine once the keychain is unlocked. SOMETIMES it seems to work fine, and other times it does not. When I right click and go to the 1Password menu, I see both my twitter logins presented, but command+\ keeps logging me into the first one (but occasionally presents me with a menu to choose). Baffling.

Hi, dprior, and welcome to the forums!

I'm not able to reproduce this at all in Safari. Whether the keychain is locked or unlocked, I press Command-\ and I get a list of two logins. If 1P is locked, I choose one, then unlock the data file, then am logged in. If it's unlocked, I still get the list, choose one, and am logged in.

Perhaps the URLs of your logins are slightly different? Try making the URLs exactly the same (mine are both http://twitter.com/). If that doesn't work, could you send us sanitized screenshots of your login items?

    Thanks!

Edit: Actually, I can tell from your screenshot that the two logins have different URLs saved. Change them both to be the same, and you should be set.

Edit 2: Oh, and Chrome does support fill and submit. You should check out our Chrome extension. It's pretty cool, and in some cases, it fills forms that Safari can't.

That seems to have done the trick, thanks.

My original Twitter login was setup back when login was on its own page. Still odd that it would work as I expected sometimes, though...

That's great to hear, dprior! Thanks for the update. The reason it would sometimes work is probably that the current URL didn't exactly match either login, making them both of "equal" relevance. That's just an educated guess, but I've seen that before. Hope that makes sense.
