TrendMicro SafeSync
<div class="IPBDescription">Previously Humyo</div>Has 1Passwd been tested with SafeSync? Can't beat unlimited storage for $60, and compared to dropbox's tiered approach that's cheap.
I have it only on Macs right now, and changing the folder icons on one leaves an icon file on my other Macs. So I'm not sure how it will affect my 1Passwd file. Thanks.

I'll be able to tell you soon, I'm a safesync user already and just about to start using 1password. I'd like the PC/MAC syncing but no desire to have a second cloud backup service.
I take it the mac/pc keychains use the same file format, so I just have to sync the PC keychain and my mac should be able to openFlag 0 -

Technically, yes. That said, the sync service must support OS X file bundles. The 1Password data "file" is a special kind of file on the Mac. It appears as a single file but is actually a collection of files and folders (which is why it appears as a data folder on a Windows PC). Dropbox supports this type of file, treating it not as a single file, but accurately syncing all the individual files inside the folder-masquerading-as-a-file. If SafeSync doesn't support this, you could experience data corruption/loss. I looked through their knowledge base but could only find rudimentary installation instructions, so you may need to contact them directly to find out.
